It’s the unknown unknowns that will get you. Not just in international politics, which Rumsfeld was referring to, but in other fields as well, and in life in general.
But it’s also the unknown unknowns that will be your biggest blessings. The unknown unknowns are those things that you never even imagined would happen to you and those opportunities that you didn’t even know existed.
