The Advantage Of Being Open-Minded

In order to know the difference between what is true and what is false, we have to be willing to think outside the box. We need to explore possibilities. We need to listen to reason. And we need to consider the facts.

Being open-minded does not mean “anything goes” or that all things are equal. Being open-minded means weighing the evidence before reaching a verdict.

Every day is a new day to learn something new – to contemplate life, to observe the world around us, to learn from others, to imagine new ideas, to experiment, to explore, and to let go of old beliefs.

You don’t have to remain where you are intellectually or spiritually. You have room to grow. And as you grow on the inside, you increase your chances of not having to remain where you are externally. As you open up your worldview, you make it more possible for the world to open up opportunities to you.
