A spiritual person is a patient person. Not trying to be an over-night success. Not even trying to be a “success” by worldly standards. Not trying to take all matters into his own hands, but recognizing that most things are out of his hands.
If you want to control something, start by letting go of control and see if things start to take care of themselves. Letting go also gives you the wisdom to know what actions to take.
You don’t need a master plan for your life. Nor do you need to fight for everything you want. We must persevere and do certain things in order to survive, but life isn’t about mere survival. It’s about learning who we are in God’s image and living out that path one moment at a time.
