A Life Of Meaning

A life of survival isn’t uncommon to humanity. It’s the norm. But the economic and social progress that we’ve been making over the past few centuries hasn’t been only about survival. It’s about opening new doors. To focus less on mere survival, and more on finding meaning.

We don’t want to toil. We don’t want to just stay alive for another day’s work. The consciousness of the universe is alive in us — we have the mind of God in us. It makes sense that we should move away from labor and more toward intellect. Not merely to use our minds to satisfy the economic goals of an employer, but to realize who we are and what we can become.
