There’s no sense in pretending you’re a saint. You’re not. No one is. Just do your best not to hurt people. That’s the main thing.

Don’t expect perfection from anyone. Not yourself or anyone else. If you do, you’ll always be disappointed and you’ll be virtually incapable of love.
