If you’re not sure if you should do a particular thing, the answer is probably no.

Sometimes the choices are between the lesser of evils. Those are the tough ones. Everything else should pretty much be, “hell yeah!, or no.”

If it doesn’t need to be done and you don’t want to do it, why do it?
