Accountability isn’t something that is often volunteered. It usually needs to be enforced by someone else. What goes around doesn’t always come around—usually someone has to make it come around.

But there’s nothing stopping you from holding yourself accountable. There’s always an excuse for bad behavior. Excusing bad behavior is itself bad behavior.
