  • Those who appear most confident are sometimes the most insecure and put up a front to hide/protect themselves. And sometimes it’s a tactic for getting something they want.
  • Things are often not as bad as they seem. Emotions effects our judgement and can cause us to jump to wrong conclusions. 
  • What sounds true can turn out to be completely false. Do your own research and think for yourself. Be critical, not in a negative way, but in a truth-seeking way. 
  • There is a struggle within ourselves between what we are and what we think we should to be. This is an ongoing problem, but can be aided by learning to let go.
  • There is luck and there is hard-work. But there are few short-cuts. What looks like a short-cut to success might actually be a dead end. Gambling is a good example of this.
