Confidence is powerful. It can come from self-talk and it can come from experience. Self-talk is a good self-starter, but it’s dangerous if not backed up with experience.

Confidence without experience can lead to falling into traps. But be careful not to let experience give you tunnel vision. Sometimes things happen outside the parameters of what you’re used to—the methods you’re used to don’t apply in every situation.
