The War Within

Everyday is a mental battle we fight with ourselves. It’s a civil war in which we’re always in danger of sabotaging ourselves.

For the most part, we know the things we must do, but sometimes we fight against that knowledge. Sometimes it’s because of laziness, and other times it’s because of fears and doubts that aren’t true.

Fear shouldn’t be the driving force in our lives. Living in fear is like dying a thousand deaths. Don’t give in to every fear—some fears are rational—defeat the ones that aren’t.
