The Little Big Things

We tend not to appreciate the little things in life, which actually aren’t little at all. A warm house, clean water, food in the cupboard, the ability to breathe unassisted—just to name a few.

Our survival instincts and insecurities about the purpose of our lives often leave us feeling unsatisfied. But when we take stock of what we have and spend some time in quiet reflection, we realize that we mostly have what we need.
