Most of our problems would fade in significance if we knew today was our last day. Today could be that day—and one day, it will be. How would you want to spend that day?
It’s important to address problems as they arise, but maybe some of them aren’t as urgent as we think they are. Maybe some of them can wait. Maybe some of them aren’t actually problems at all.
We can’t live as though today is, for sure, our last day, but we can live as though it might be. By considering the possibility that today could be our last, it becomes easier to recognize what really matters.
