There’s value in writing down specific goals. A list can be useful—but only if it serves as a guide, not an obsession, and doesn’t feel burdensome.
It’s in moments of mindfulness that we see most clearly what we want and what we should be doing. Lists, on their own, are lifeless. Words on a page don’t mean anything unless they arise from depth and insight.
Making a list is fine, but living mindfully is better.
