People often chose careers based primarily on financial incentives. Unfortunately, even high income earners tend to be dissatisfied. Conversely, those who have the life-style they want, tend to be happier—they’re able to spend more of their time the way they want to.

Your work—physical or mental, is an investment of time, and sometimes, health. You make that investment in order to get money, some of which is needed. Think wisely about how much you’re giving in exchange for what you’re getting.
