We tend to lean toward complicated solutions, because problems often seem complicated. However, complicated solutions tend to amplify the complexity of a problem.
It’s best to look for the simplest approach. Or to paraphrase Occam’s Razor: the simplest answer is usually correct.
The complicated way may feel more exciting and might make you feel smarter, but it’s often the wrong approach.
