Navigating Medical Confusion

The human body is complex. There’s still much that doctors don’t understand, but there’s also a great deal they do. Far more is known today than a century ago.

When you think about it, medical science is an effort to prevent or reverse health outcomes that have occurred for millennia. In essence, it’s a way of trying to slow or circumvent entropy— a fundamental law of the universe that’s been operating for billions of years.

As a society, we’re fortunate to have the medical knowledge we do, even if it can be confusing at times. It’s okay to question some of it, but most of the time, it’s wise to follow the guidance.
