Track It

All positive behavior change starts with becoming aware of negative behavior.

And it’s sustained through continuous monitoring. For example:

  • Tracking your expenses monthly—or better yet, transaction by transaction
  • Weighing yourself regularly—every morning is best
  • Counting daily calorie intake
  • Journaling your negative thoughts and identifying what’s causing them

Awareness must be followed by discipline. And that discipline breeds deeper awareness and real change.
