Defying Fear

Sometimes the only way to overcome fear is action. Not the thrill-seeking type, but doing what needs to be done even when we feel afraid.

Instead of submitting to your fears or pretending they don’t exist, acknowledge them and stubbornly move forward anyway. A little anger can help you defy your fears, and sometimes laughing at them is the best policy.

Fear is a risk signal, a built-in alarm. It keeps us out of trouble, but it’s not always right.
