Option Two

Disappointment leaves us with two options:

  1. Become frustrated, leading to anger, depression, or fear.
  2. Find something to be thankful for.

Frustration is a sign that we’re trying to force things. It arises when we don’t get what we want, but option one doesn’t actually help you with that. It can sometimes be useful if it leads to greater determination, but frequent frustration is usually a sign of wrong perspective.

Option two is usually the wiser choice. It’s a retreat, but it doesn’t mean giving up. We can find peace while looking for the right way forward.
