It’s not always obvious when we’ve peaked at something. Sometimes we quit before reaching the summit, and sometimes we’re already descending the far side before realizing we made it to the top.

Regardless, pinnacles are places you reach, not places you stay. Learn to be happy regardless of the mountaintops you reach. They alone can’t give you lasting fulfillment.
