When Words Don’t Convey Meaning

Meditation is not about thinking.

Quiet time is not about silence.

Prayer is not about begging.

Sometimes what we associate with a word is actually the exact opposite of the meaning, or at least the meaning intended by the one using it.

“Words exist because of meaning. Once you’ve gotten the meaning, you can forget the words. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words so I can talk with him.” ~ Chuang Tzu
