When someone wants to believe something, it can be almost impossible to change their mind, no matter how crazy their beliefs or how rational your argument might be.

You’ll have much more success convincing someone who is open-minded. Especially if it’s someone who respects your judgement. First convince that person, and maybe they can convince some of their friends.
