The culture of hyper-productivity is not a mindful one.
It masquerades as purpose-driven. But it’s actually soul-sucking.
And it’s almost entirely self-focused. It’s all about accomplishing goals for yourself, instead of service to others. It’s about how much money you can make and what stuff you can buy, and what name you can make for yourself.
Life isn’t about achieving as much as you possibly can or making as much money as you can. It’s about love. Not romantic or erotic love, but love that causes us to see ourselves in each other.
