You are probably luckier than you realize. You’re living in a time of unprecedented freedom, prosperity, and opportunity. It’s not distributed evenly to everyone, but most people living today are much better off than the majority of people who lived a century or more ago.

There are many opportunities to make your own luck in this world. It involves continuous education, self-awareness, and diligence. Often, one or more of these components is missing, rather than opportunity itself.
