I shouldn’t be so sure that I’m any more righteous than the people who I think are unrighteous. I might actually be just as bad or worse than the people who I think aren’t good.
It’s the habit of all of us to think we’re essentially good, while assuming that most other people aren’t so good.
Take the log out of your own eye. Judge not lest you be judged. The measure of mercy you give is the measure of mercy you’ll receive.
