You Don’t Owe Every Critic An Explanation

You don’t owe critics an explanation just because they’ve chosen to criticize you.

There will always be someone with an opposing view who is convinced they’re right, regardless of how mistaken they may be. They may even appear every bit as confident, articulate, and intelligent as you.

Focus on what is true, not on what people say.

Much criticism stems from misunderstanding rather than insight. But when criticism is accurate, accept it, learn from it, and make the necessary adjustments.
