If you don’t want to be evil how could you be evil in the first place? How could an evil person not want to be evil?

You’re a good person who sometimes does the wrong thing. We’re all that way. It’s just that some of us are more prone to it than others.

There’s nothing wrong with believing that people are inherently good, but beware that people are prone to errors so great that we call them evil for lack of better explanation.
