Universal truth is not the same as universal appeal. The truth isn’t always appealing.

That’s why we sometimes avoid it. Ignoring the truth can feel better than facing it.

Ignorance can be bliss because you can’t fear dangers you’re unaware of. But the truths we deny don’t disappear. What we don’t know can still hurt us.
