What has happened, and what we believe will happen, dominate our mind and influence how we live. Almost all active thinking is either thoughts about the past or projections about the future.
Worry is the result of an over-active imagination—habitually projecting future events in a negative way—often without justification. Worry is self-harm.
The thing is, if the present isn’t important, than neither is the future. Be present.
