Incremental Improvements

“People tend to overestimate how much they can accomplish in a year and underestimate how much they can accomplish in ten years.” Bill Gates

Give yourself a reasonable timeline, in terms of how much you can get done. Don’t bite off too much at once. You can accomplish a lot over time if you’re smart about it and remain patient.

One new dietary change per year. One new exercise added to your routine per year. One new investment idea per year. Study one new subject per year, etc.

This leads to a lot of change after 10-years. Such incremental improvements are achievable. If you try to do it all at once you’ll be overwhelmed and likely give up.
