Make sure you know who your mentors are. We all have them. Our mentors are the people we take advice from and the people we imitate, consciously and unconsciously.

Be careful about adopting the theories and philosophies of other people. A lot of it is wrong. Even the smartest people are wrong plenty. Ruthlessly pursue the truth, doubting everyone, until you’re satisfied that they’re likely right.
