“You must know the big ideas in the big disciplines, and use them routinely—all of them, not just a few.” ~Charlie Munger
If you don’t know the “big ideas,” you have no idea. You’re like someone stumbling around in a dark room, looking for light to come in through a crack somewhere. And once you find that bit of light, you think that’s all there is—no need to keep exploring.
It’s never time to stop asking the big questions and looking for insight you don’t yet have. Even the most basic understanding of the world isn’t possible without a basic understanding of a wide variety of subjects. What you don’t know won’t hurt you, until it does.
