The learning part is fairly straight forward.

Putting yourself out there means different things. Sometimes it means telling people what you have to offer. Sometimes it means asking for what you want. Sometimes it means creating something. Sometimes it means putting capital to work. You can’t just sit back and dream— you’ve got to go after it (in a realistic way).
