Sometimes when there are two paths to choose from, both are acceptable. It isn’t always the case that one is right and the other is wrong. One may be better than the other, but it’s not always clear which one, or by how much.

Even in hindsight it can often be impossible to know if you made the better choice. Hindsight is full of biases and we don’t know what would have happened had we chosen a different path. Maybe that path would have led to an unexpected tragedy.

Embrace uncertainty. There are gifts in it. There will be troubles, but there will also be good things you couldn’t have imagined.
