And as you’re fixing yourself, you can encourage others to fix themselves too. Fixing yourself first, gives you the credibility to suggest that others do the same. This doesn’t mean you have to be totally fixed first, but you need to have at least begun.
It’s not about being better than others. You’re not interested in defeating people. That’s not your aim. Your aim is to be a better version of yourself and inspire others to be a better version of themselves.
This requires confronting the truth. You have to face who you really are. You can’t change what you’re not willing to confront, and you can’t give what you don’t have.
