No matter how much you do, it will always feel like you’re not doing enough. Because we’re aware that we’re capable of more. And we never quite feel secure enough in this world, because life is so fragile.

It’s our awareness of our potential and our awareness of the fragility of life that fuels our pursuit. We want more, because we believe we’re capable of it and because we believe it will provide us with further security.

We’ll never be totally satisfied or secure in this life. There’s always more to be done and there’s always something to be concerned about. That doesn’t mean we can’t have peace or some level of security. It just means it will never be perfect and fear will visit us from time to time.
