We already have many of the answers we seek. But we ignore them. We want something more complicated and exciting, and which gives us a feeling of accomplishment.

Simple wisdom isn’t sexy and not immediately satisfying. And it’s universal, so we can’t claim ownership of it. And it’s hidden in plain sight, available to all, so we can’t pat ourselves on the back for finding it.
